My work focuses on targeting unhelpful thought patterns, habits, and beliefs that contribute to distress & anxiety and working to resolve them. I assist with healing from past experiences that interfere with the present and help incorporate new skills to help manage distress. I believe in taking a collaborative approach to helping clients identify and reach their goals. My main areas of focus include Anxiety, Perinatal/Postpartum Mental Health, Trauma, and Nutritional & Integrative Medicine
I primarily utilize a cognitive behavioral therapy approach. This modality aims to raise awareness of how perceptions feed beliefs and behaviors, then reframe them to help meet goals. I am trained in EMDR and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. I also incorporate modalities such as mindfulness and positive psychology.
